Gayle Scherrer
 My name is Gayle Scherrer and I am the teacher for the Mill Creek Cooperative Preschool 2/3 class. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in child development from San Jose State University. After working in a corporate environment for over ten years I left that to raise my children. I began working as a classroom parent volunteer and then began teaching at the Edmonds School District Early Childhood program in 2001.

Parent Educators
Edmonds Community College assigns a parent educator for each of our classes. These individuals are well qualified and certified in early childhood and family life education. The parent educator participates and observe in the preschool class thus getting to know each child and parent. They lead parent education discussions addressing that age groups growth and development. They are also available to assist in any one on one concerns a family may be having.
